Bitcoin Japan Corporation has revised its “Privacy Policy” and “Handling of Personal Information” (collectively, the “Privacy Policy”) effective October 22, 2026. This revision updates and clarifies the scope of application of the Privacy Policy, the relationship between the Privacy Policy and the websites operated by the Company, and the descriptions regarding the acquisition, use, and management of personal information.

Bitcoin Japan Corporation has revised its “Privacy Policy” and “Handling of Personal Information” (collectively, the “Privacy Policy”) effective October 22, 2026.
This revision updates and clarifies the scope of application of the Privacy Policy, the relationship between the Privacy Policy and the websites operated by the Company, and the descriptions regarding the acquisition, use, and management of personal information.
Key Revisions
1. Clarification of the Scope of Application and Relationship with Each Website
The term “Website” in this Privacy Policy refers to www.hotta-marusho.co.jp and www.bitcoin.co.jp. For details regarding the handling of personal information on other websites operated by the Company, including teaser sites, pre-registration sites, and campaign sites, users are directed to the privacy policy or other privacy-related notice published on each respective website.
We have also added provisions stating that, where this Privacy Policy is applied by reference to another website, that website will clearly state this fact and the scope of application. Where site-specific provisions apply, the website will also explain those provisions and their relationship to this Privacy Policy.
2. Clarification and Organization of Information Collected and Purposes of Use
We have clarified the personal information and access information collected through our websites and reorganized the purposes for which such information is used.
3. Enhancement of Provisions Regarding Retention, Deletion, and Security Control Measures
We have added and clarified provisions regarding the retention and deletion of personal data, security control measures, and the Company’s response in the event of a data breach or similar incident.
4. Clarification of Provisions Regarding Third-Party Provision, Cookies, and Related Matters
We have revised and supplemented the descriptions regarding the provision of personal data to third parties, outsourcing, joint use, and the handling of personal data in foreign countries. We have also added provisions regarding the use of cookies and access information, as well as the transmission of information to external services.
5. Clarification of Procedures for Disclosure Requests and Unsubscribing from Information Delivery
We have reorganized the provisions regarding requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, identity verification, and procedures for unsubscribing from information delivery.
6. Change to the Method for Contacting the Privacy Inquiry Desk
The methods for contacting us regarding personal information have been changed to email and postal mail. The dedicated email address is privacy@bitcoin.co.jp. For details, please refer to the “Contact for Personal Information Inquiries” section of the Privacy Policy.
